American actor best known for his work on “All My Children” passes away at the age of 48.


The breakout role he portrayed on the soap opera “All My Children” catapulted actor Jeffrey Carlson to fame.

He initially appeared on the show in 2006, portraying the role of Zarf, a male rock star.

His character then revealed that he was transsexual and was given the name Zoe for the length of his time on the show.

Carlson, in addition to his work on “All My Children,” has been in a number of other films and television shows, including 2005’s “Hitch” and 2007’s “The Killing Floor.”

Unfortunately, a Carlson representative confirmed the devastating news that the actor died at the age of 48. His official cause of death will not be determined for four to six weeks, according to his family, and no cause of death has been released as of yet.

Elizabeth Carlson Gingras, Carlson’s sister, also issued a statement about her brother’s death, confirming that he died on July 6, 2023. She explained herself as follows: “My handsome, brilliant, and EXTREMELY talented brother Jeffrey Carlson has gone to be with our brother Gregory Carlson in heaven.”

“I don’t understand why this has happened,” she continued. “What I do know is that I will always treasure our laughs and our intense love for one another. It’s difficult to put into words how unique he was because of the impact he has had on so many individuals. I want to say so much, but my heart isn’t in the right place to give Jeffrey the words he needs. My lovely brother, you have my undying affection. 6/23/1975-7/06/2023.”

“All My Children” paid respect to Carlson on social media after learning of his passing.
