Hilary Swank, 48, announces birth of twins: ‘It wasn’t easy’

Hilary Swank and her husband Philip Schneider became parents to a boy and a girl!

The actress from Alaska Daily posted the first image of her brand-new twins on Instagram on Sunday.

She wrote “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼.“Happy Easter! 🐣🐣,” the 48-year-old mom of two added. “Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽.”

Congratulations from well-known friends and admirers alike flooded the comment area.

In an interview with Good Morning America in October 2022, Swank disclosed that she was expecting a child.

“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” she said. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.”

The couple’s family history, according to the Oscar-winning actress, includes twins.

She revealed on Live! with Kelly and Ryan that in addition to her grandmother, her husband’s grandma was a twin.

The actress has been updating her social media accounts with information about her pregnancy experience ever since she and her husband announced they were expecting.

She compared women in January to superheroes because they can become pregnant.

“What our bodies do? I have such, like, a whole newfound respect. I mean, I love women, I’ve always loved women, but now, I’m like, ‘Wow, we can do this!’”

Happy anniversary, Hilary and Philip! May God bless your adorable newborns.
