Tragic new detail comes to light after Madonna hospitalization – star had to be revived

Following her unexpected hospitalization last week, Madonna’s recuperation is taking longer than anticipated.

In fact, according to current sources, her latest health concern was more serious than initially believed.

The 64-year-old’s internet antics and constantly shifting appearance have kept her in and out of the news in recent months.

Madonna had been scheduled to launch her highly anticipated Celebration Tour in Vancouver on July 15; however, it had to be postponed after she was taken to the hospital with a bacterial infection. The tour would have seen Madonna perform her greatest hits from 1983 to the present in 53 shows across North America and Europe.

Last Wednesday (June 28), Gary Oseary, the singer’s tour manager, announced the decision to halt the tour on Instagram. He wrote: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in ICU.”

He continued: “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled shows.”

According to the first reports, Madonna was discovered comatose on June 24 and sent to a hospital in New York City where she was intubated.

A Grammy-winning musician’s relative revealed to Entertainment Tonight not long after that her family had been “preparing for the worst” ever since the news first emerged.n “preparing for the worst” after the news first broke. “For the past couple of days, no one really knew which direction this was going to turn, and her family was preparing for the worst,” they said.

“That is why it was kept a secret since Saturday,” they added. “Everyone believed that we may lose her, and that has been the reality of the situation.”

The relative further expressed their concern over the chart-topping singer, saying that Madonna truly “believes that she is invincible” and that she “has been wearing herself thin over the past couple of months.”

Now, Radar Online has exclusively revealed that Madonna’s hospital stay was more severe than first believed, as medical personnel who attended to the diva at her residence while she was unresponsive were compelled to give her a NARCAN shot.

When an opioid overdose is known or suspected, the injection is frequently administered to treat the symptoms, which might include unusual tiredness or trouble waking up, breathing difficulties, and a slow heartbeat. NARCAN injections are frequently used to counteract the effects of septic shock, according to Medline Plus, thus administering one does not always indicate that a patient has experienced an opioid overdose.

While Madonna is supposedly no longer in the intensive care unit, she is reportedly still gravely ill and still bedridden.

The singer’s bacterial infection has not yet been identified, although the New York Post did note that she had reportedly had a month-long fever before being discovered comatose.
